Responsibilities:
Maintaining GL account master data in all ERP systems used (SAP & Addison)
Monitoring and checking of fixed asset accounting including fixed asset movement schedule
Monitoring and ensuring bank reconciliation, the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, provisions including statement of changes in provisions
Governmental Reporting (VAT, Z4, Intrastat etc.)
Allocation of balance sheet and income statement accounts
Reconciliation of tax accounts
I/C reconciliation (CAS)
Monitoring of accruals and deferrals
Reconciliation of inventories (raw materials and supplies)
Cash flow analysis
Support with IFRS financial statements
Significant involvement with the HGB single-entity and consolidated financial statements
Monitoring the import of salary postings and their plausibility checks
Process optimization
Implementation of ICO controls
Coordination of the month-end closing calendar/closing activities together with the SSC/controllers
Mediator between finance departments and SSC
Contact person for auditors, tax consultants and tax auditors
Collaboration in the EUAC RTR as well as adoption and transformation of Group specifications including KPI reporting
Support and technical contact person for the introduction of new IFRS standards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent training or experience
Around 5 years of experience working in Finance/Accounting
Mature experience in Finance/Accounting on a similar leadership position
Good knowledge of IFRS and ideally German GAAP
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software, strong MIS skills
SAP FI module and Addison experience
Fluency in English, German knowledge is an advantage
Proactive team player as well as being able to take own initiatives
