Job Description

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Accounting Analyst to perform accounting tasks in a shared services environment.  You will be responsible for ensuring accurate transactions, providing assurance that our accounting practices adhere to financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures, and performing general ledger entries and account reconciliations.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Prepare, review, and post journal entriesPrepare and review account reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurately statedManage ongoing projects and ad-hoc requests as assignedOnboarding accounting functions from various Business Units to Financial Shared ServicesSupport internal and external audit requestsWork in a team environment while supporting business units throughout the organizationMaintain existing internal controls while looking for continuous improvement opportunitiesDevelop, analyze, and present reports to managementIndirectly supervise the work efforts of lower level or junior staff members Qualifications

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/FinanceCPA preferred3-5 years of experienceHands-on experience in financial accounting & reportingMS suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)SAP ERP experience highly desiredWorking knowledge of inventory and cost account, a plusHyperion ESSBASE, a plus

The compensation range for this position is approximately $72,000 - $95,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education
