Your Role:

As a Senior Accounting Business Partner, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the CFOs / CAOs (Business Partners) of designated legal entities across one or more countries. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the financial statements of these entities, ensuring compliance with local legislation and adherence to Group Financial Reporting Guidelines. Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements for assigned legal entities, ensuring compliance with local laws and Group policies. This includes Master Package (BS, PL, Notes & Comments etc.) review and submission for consolidation.This role requires close collaboration with centralized accounting departments and various Group Functions, including Tax and Treasury. You will proactively inform your Business Partners about the financial performance of the entities and take ownership of specific activities as agreed upon with the CFOs / CAOsAdditionally, you will coordinate financial tax audits, and support various projects in diverse capacities.Maintain regular communication with CFOs/CAOs to provide updates on financial developments and insights.Collaborate with centralized accounting departments and Group Functions to facilitate efficient financial processes.Provide accounting guidance to different GES departments to ensure compliance in reporting principles.Coordinate and manage financial and tax audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Support various projects by taking on different roles as required, contributing to the overall financial strategy.Analyze financial data and prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management review.

 

Who you are:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or any related business discipline is required. CPA or equivalent accounting license is a nice to have for an Associate level but not required. For Senior level CPA or equivalent certification is requiredTechnical Skills: Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems used for financial reporting is advantageous.Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of IFRS standards, accounting principles, and finance processes, along with a solid understanding of tax regulations.Local Insight: Comprehensive understanding of local business dynamics and processes, as well as group reporting requirements.Analytical Skills: Proven ability in financial analytics, with strong communication and presentation skills tailored for management-level interactions.Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: High ability and confidence in engaging with business leaders, fostering collaborative relationships.Work Environment: Willingness to work at BGC, Taguig, during day shifts (9 AM - 6 PM) or mid shifts
