What the day will look like: Responsible for payments of refunds, commission payables, and carrier payables including identification and resolution of premium discrepancies Timely reconciliation of balances and payments to premium finance partners and agency bill carriers Responsible for analysis and resolution of outstanding issues Analyze information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details to identify recurring imbalance drivers Point person for internal and external contacts for policy inquiries Partner with CoverWallet operation and product teams to resolve policy system and data input errors Ensure compliance with accounting policies and financial controls Other responsibilities and enterprise duties as assigned Skills and experience that will lead to success: 3-5 years of related experience Solid financial accounting and analytical skills Experience in researching and resolving reconciliation variances Advanced Excel, Google Sheets, and database analytics Insurance agency accounting and/or premium finance experience preferred Strong customer service focus Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Mathematics How we support our colleagues: In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $60,000-$62,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
