Job Description

Join our team as a Senior Accounts Payable Technician and become a key player in our accounts payable process! You will be responsible for the entire process, from meticulous invoice analysis to proactive supplier relationship management. Under the supervision of the Associate Accounts Payable Manager, your analytical expertise and attention to detail will be invaluable assets in ensuring accurate accounts and smooth financial operations.

What You Will Do:

Review and verify invoices, and obtain necessary approvals before making payments.Support and mentor Accounts Payable Technicians.Prioritize payments to maximize discounts and meet deadlines.Respond to supplier inquiries and resolve discrepancies.Maintain accurate accounts payable records, perform reconciliations, and ensure compliance with company policies.

QualificationsDEP or DEC in Accounting or equivalent diploma.Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable accounting.Intermediate level of Excel and/or Google Sheets.Experience working with SAP, an asset.Good English skills to communicate with suppliers based outside of Quebec as well as good French skills as it is the language in Quebec province.Be available to come to the office twice a week (Tuesday & Wednesday).
