We are inviting you to join Howden and become a trusted and valued member of our Accounts Receivable team, which is based in the Budapest Shared Service Centre. As a part of this vital team, you will manage the AR process making sure Howden meets all partner and customer requirements in a timely manner, as well as maximising cash flow, while minimising aged debt.
The main role purpose is to manage the SSC AR processes making sure Howden a Chart Industries Company meets all partner and customer requirements in a timely manner, as well as maximising cash flow, while minimising aged debt and improve Accounts Receivables processes. Manage dedicated team’s daily operation from people, process and technology point of view.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…Manage small portion of own portfolio – mostly complex cases:
Cash application - booking and approve payments in a timely manner Cash collection and customer query management Credit risk assessment and managementBeside the daily operational tasks:
Be the role model for AR team members in all sense Be the first line of escalation point in the escalation matrix Manage team daily operational work by workload allocations, escalation related cases Provide daily operation support to the Team members, the Team Leader and AR Manager Lead the weekly Portfolio Reviews with Team members Become familiar with each business units’ processes to ensure the effectivity and efficiency Take part in process improvements, ERP implementation and related projects, Provide support and backup information to the Team Leader, SME – unit specific knowledge Provide process trainings to the new joiners Develop a good relationship with LBUs and cross-functional teams Support changes and share best practices within the teamYour Professional Experience Should Be… University or college degree Very good knowledge of finance processes Experience and understanding of major ERP systems Fluency in English and an additional European language Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-confidence, accuracy Proactive, solution focus mind-set Strong Excel skills
