Axient is seeking a Senior Acquisition Program Test & Evaluation Specialist to support our customer on Eglin AFB, FL

What you will do... Provide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational testing. Utilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs. Prepare (or advise others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise. Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and complexity. Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks. Develop new and innovative approaches to problems encountered, and accomplish assigned tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness. Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion/fault identification). De-conflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead. Provide resources with knowledge and experience in designing, planning, coordinating, executing and analyzing verification/validation, T&E programs. Develope Verification/ Validation (V/V) and T&E strategies and documentation (e.g. Test and Evaluation Master Plan) to verify/validate Armament Systems against performance requirements.  May also require experience in munitions handling, loading, storage checkout, transportation and electronic combat/weapon/aircraft compatibility issues, and statistical methods/Design of Experiments (DOE). Verification tasks including analysis of resultant weapons fly-out data to analyze accuracy of modeling and simulation results and development of realistic and accurate target presentations for use in verification and validation of air-to-air missile firings. The Contractor shall support tests at outside continental United States (OCONUS) locations to include the handling and operation of COMSEC material. Skills you will need... Must have an active and transferrable DoD Top Secret security clearance with current investigation at the required level.Associate's degree plus 20 yrs experience Or Bachelor's degree plus 15 yrs experience Or Master's degree plus 15 yrs experience.
