**Senior Acquisition Specialist (4688)** Location **Washington, DC** Job Code **4688** \# of Openings **1** Apply Now (https://phg.tbe.taleo.net/phg01/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=GATEWAYVENT&cws=55&rid=4688) Bennett Aerospace Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Senior Aquisition Specialist. **Position Responsibilities:** The Senior Aquisition Specialist is to provide support to NAVSEA SBIR/STTR related research and development (R&D) acquisition and Navy acquisition program technology procurement and business development. Must demonstrate understanding and guidance to NAVSEA Program Executive Offices (PEO) and Directorate programs to transition SBIR/STTR technologies to Phase III and into acquisition and Navy use is highly recommended. Ability to support the NAVSEA SBIR/STTR Program Office, NAVSEA PEOs and Directorate programs, and SBIR/STTR contractors to help ensure compliance with all aspects of the 15 USC 638, SBA SBIR/STTR Policy Directives, DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives and Assistant Secretary of the Navy (ASN) for Research, Development and Acquisition (RDA) SBIR/STTR policy. Experience with support of development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, contract awards, agreements, and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA) is preferable as well as the ability to assesses program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with SBIR/STTR program, contracting, and mission requirements. Must attend, participate, support, analyze, develop, prepare, and report on NAVSEA SBIR/STTR outreach, briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards is highly preferable. Ability to support, organize, and coordinate outreach events for the NAVSEA SBIR/STTR Program is recommended. Capability of integrating business and technical methodologies to provide support for transition of SBIR/STTR technologies to Phase III and into acquisition and Navy use is preferable. Experience with 15 USC 638, SBA SBIR/STTR Policy Directives, the DoD and SECNAV 5000 acquisition series, ASN (RDA) SBIR/STTR policies, and Federal and DoD acquisition regulations is recommended.
