Job Description
The Washington Post is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist to join our subscriptions marketing team. You will execute strategies to increase customer engagement and conversion, enhancing customer experiences and maximizing conversion rates. You will collaborate with the product team and the Acquisition Manager to test and improve registration, engagement, and conversion strategies.
With exceptional attention to detail and strong expertise in technical, creative, and analytical domains, you will work closely with product, analytics, and brand marketing partners. You will execute an acquisition strategy across all channels to achieve goals.
This position reports to the Manager of Subscriber Acquisitions.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences through testing and optimizing global digital marketing strategies to maximize conversion.
Ensure performance goals are consistently achieved through daily monitoring of key metrics to inform strategy across all channels and deliver results.
Create and execute strategies that align with performance metrics to increase registration, engagement, and conversion to drive new subscriber acquisition.
Use data analytics to identify opportunities for optimization and expansion across all digital marketing channels.
Manage timelines, creative development, and implement A/B testing strategies to improve messaging, channel selection, and offer personalization.
Conduct QA and auditing of email and onsite implementation to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
Work with the Acquisition Manager to execute automated journeys that drive engagement and conversion for new products and initiatives.
Qualifications
3-4 years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, conversion rate optimization, customer communications, or related fields, preferably in a subscription-based business.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data tracking and analysis tools, like Tableau, Looker, or Google Analytics, for interpreting customer trends.
Highly detail-oriented with excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to monitor campaign impact, interpret A/B test outcomes, and identify performance trends.
Collaborative mindset with strong cross-functional teamwork, swift execution, proactive problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Technical proficiency in various marketing technology tools (CDPs, ESPs, eCommerce platforms, or landing page platforms), with basic copywriting and HTMLskills to support campaign execution across multiple platforms.

The salary range for this position is:
74,000.00 - 111,000.00 USD AnnualThe actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
