Aon is looking for a Actuarial Analyst (P&C Reinsurance) This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility to work both virtually and from our vibrant Toronto office in support of our reinsurance clients across Canada and the Caribbean. What the day will look like Analyze, edit, and model complex data Develop proficiency in completing standard cost-benefit analyses and stochastic risk simulations on reinsurance contracts Assist in preparing presentations to showcase analysis results to brokers and clients Consistently produce high-quality analyses within agreed timeframes Take initiative on internal projects to improve processes, products, or services Manage analyses and projects from start to finish with guidance How this opportunity is different The Analyst will support clients as requested by supervisor or brokers, across client projects and internal research assignments. This opportunity offers exposure to top-level executives and decision makers at a wide variety of clients and reinsurers. Skills and experience that will lead to success 1 to 5 years of actuarial experience, preferably in P&C, Reinsurance and/or Consulting roles Dynamic Financial Analysis or Economic Capital Modeling experience a plus Successful completion of at least 1 Casualty Actuarial Society exams Ability to work independently and take initiative Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) Ability to identify and resolve problems, think creatively, strategically and analytically Accuracy, thoroughness, and strong attention to detail Strong ability to understand and perform mathematical and statistical calculations Extensive knowledge of MS Office suite of products Programming / Database / SQL abilities are a plus How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
