Starting Salary: $60,720
This position is open to the public and all current City employees covered under the City’s collective bargaining agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) – BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 5. Only employees in City job titles in this bargaining unit are eligible to bid.

Under direction, assists in the performance of specialized administrative support duties, develops and implements management methods to improve organizational performance; and performs related duties as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Performs data entry in case management and other tracking systems and prepares reports as necessary. Prepares court documents and files, as well as maintains said files. Maintains records of and prepares collection documents, processes payments, and records judgments, fines, receivership certificates, board-up liens, and Streets and Sanitation liens.Prepares releases of liens. Answers phones, and responds to emails, faxes, correspondence, and walk-ins. Troubleshoots matters and directs to appropriate staff. Warehouse files for the division. Attends meetings related to special projects affecting the division, at the direction of the Deputy or direct supervisor.Coordinates meetings and meeting space, at the direction of the Deputy or direct supervisor.Assist the Deputy in assessing the current division policies to create more efficient processes. Creates plans and organizes the implementation of new processes for the Division.

Location: 2 North LaSalle, Suite 320 | BLE Division
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 9AM – 5PM or 8AM-4PM
