The Position:

As the largest Capital Markets administration team in Jersey, the team consists of two teams of Administrators and an Accounting team. The team is experiencing growth across all sectors of our client book and as such we are recruiting to support this client growth. 

We are specialists in all things debt capital markets, from standalone note issuance SPVs, to multi programme issuers, including asset backed securities, synthetic securitisation and structured finance across a variety of jurisdictions.  We also undertake debt listing services on a number of exchanges (TISE, LSE, Euronext), undertaking the continuing obligations work for all SPVs with listed debt, provide a range of escrow and cash administration services.  Each administration team manages their own portfolios consisting of both individual clients and large corporate structures.  As a Senior Administrator you will be responsible for the administration of the various clients within your portfolio, which may include client onboarding, establishment of charitable trusts, company incorporation, processing of transactions and all day-to-day corporate secretarial administration through the life cycle of an SPV to its dissolution. You will be expected to support the growth and development of the Administrators and Trainees on the team, delegating work appropriately and providing training as required. 

Some of the things you will be doing:

Be responsible for the administration of a portfolio of structures and ensure clients are managed effectively including: Preparation of board packs, minutes of meetings & resolutions Attendance at board meetings Review and comment on legal documentation Review of financial statements and liaise with accountants and auditors Prepare documentation for incorporations & dissolutions to include all associated onboarding (risk and due diligence) & offboarding requirements Preparing payment packs Ensure client records are updated with all correspondence on a daily basis Produce and submit all statutory returns Work with your team members to manage your client portfolio, providing guidance using our internal processes Pro-actively take on additional responsibilities and administration tasks to support your manager and our clients Develop to become an expert in technical matters and share this knowledge with members of your team Our orphan SPVs are all owned by charitable or purpose trusts and your role will also include trust administration, including the processing of annual charitable distributions Maintain client documents with integrity and confidentiality Communicate openly with clients Be responsible and approachable when given tasks by other team members and delegating your own client work Suggest new ideas on how to improve the efficiencies of various daily tasks as you see them Take care and establish good relationships with all clients, intermediaries, suppliers and colleagues  Drive personal development using all resources available at CSC  Accurately record all time spent dealing with client matters to ensure the clients are correctly invoiced

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need:

Be able to deal with tasks independently & use own initiative Must be committed and driven to achieving excellence for themselves and their clients Confident communicator with both clients and colleagues  Strong academic background and hold or be studying towards an appropriate professional qualification Be proactive and forward thinking Studying towards professional qualification i.e. ICSA/ STEP
