We are recruiting a Snowflake Database Administrator to join our DHT team in China.

As part of a data-driven organization, the primary role of the DBA is to unlock the full potential of our data platform and maintenance of the data platform & ultimately putting data at the fingertips of various stakeholders in the world. You will share the ownership of our data platform, from ingress through transformation and access/integration.
Let's talk about responsibilities:
Snowflake China DBA responsibilitiesWork with the US, APAC and EU teams and make sure that the Snowflake environment follows the standards and the architecture.Help develop, deploy and troubleshoot ETL logicHelp US, APAC and EU teams to investigate data platform related issues.Work with Snowflake support to address any product related issues.Design, implement, and manage the Snowflake accounts to ensure high availability and scalability.Design, configure and manage Snowflake accounts, including database schema, access control, and security policies.Implement cost control measures.Help other Snowflake users with query optimization.Monitor and tune Snowflake performance, including resource utilization and system health.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Snowflake, including system failures, data integrity, data quality, data replication, data sharing and access issues.Collaborate with data engineers, analytic engineers, and data consumers to design and implement data pipelines and analytic processes.Maintain data quality and consistency across the Snowflake environment.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices related to data privacy and security.Stay updated with new Snowflake features and best practices and make recommendations for improvements to the Snowflake environment.Develop and maintain documentation related to the Snowflake environment, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Provide training and support to other members of the data team as needed.
