Senior Administrator - Records

Summary:   Verifies that all documents are in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations governing business
operations (DOT, FERC, Energy Transfer)


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
<Provides training and instruction to Houston, Division and Area personnel on the use of the company’s document
management system and related applications. (FileNet, Pulse, PCTS)
<Assists field locations with record keeping procedures and helps monitor and maintain established standards regarding the
company’s document management system.
<Individual may perform field trips (as required) during construction to ensure documentation is properly collected and
assembled.
<Provides research assistance in obtaining drawings and documentation as requested both internally and externally.
Scan, index and upload drawings and documentation to the company document management system. (FileNet)

Requirements: Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills and abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual
must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:


High School education or GED.
Two+ years of experience in gas transmission or a related field or in a technically related field.
Proficient at reading drawings and documentation associated with industry facilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent organization skills with high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Prior experience with document management systems and related software. (FileNet, DataCap)
Knowledgeable in the operation of various scanners (large and small format) and related software.
Must have a background and knowledge in document management practices.
Overall understanding of CFR 192 and 195 as it relates to Records Requirements.
Experience with implementing records management concepts, processes and best practices.
Must be a well-motivated self-starter capable of working on multiple projects, changing priorities and exacting deadlines.

Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee
encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.


1. Usually, normal office working conditions.
2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
3. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
4. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as
extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
