What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of all activities related to trade capture operations in domestic and global markets for all client segments within RBC Investor Services (IS).

What will you do?

Efficient and accurate processing of client trades including repair, validation and manual inputEfficient and accurate processing of client cancellations/correctionsLeverage your technical skills to optimize and automate operating procedures that ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all processesContributes to environment of continuous improvement that assesses workflow, processes and procedures on an ongoing basis, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality within the departmentFollows preset procedures ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements as well as corporate audit and risk management requirements.Contributes to satisfactory results in all internal & external auditsDisplay work ethics that fosters team spirit and a respectable workplaceAssist others in the team during high volume periods and staff shortageCollaborate with management decisions and discretions that are required to mitigate risksEnsure sufficient cross-training plans are in place and achieved for sufficient coverage during unexpected FTE shortage within and outside the team.Knowledge and “client exception” sharing to ensure proper coverage at all timesSupport and adopt to new initiatives

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

2-4 years of relevant work experienceSolid knowledge of Trade Processing principlesVery strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent communications skills, both verbal and writtenAnalytical and detail-oriented qualitiesAbility to work under pressure and meet very strict deadlinesAbility to multi-task and ensure accuracy/efficiency
