We are currently\nseeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Advanced Manufacturing\nEngineering (AME) Manager to join our team in Northford, CT.
In this role, you\nwill be accountable for driving industrial productivity and continuous\nimprovement initiatives, overseeing hiring and staffing, guiding automation and\ndigitization efforts, managing NPI transfer to production, and overseeing\ncapacity and capital planning.

Develop a first-class\nmanufacturing engineering staffing plan, including required census and critical\nskills - Identify personnel resource gaps, justify needs, and gain guide\napproval for critical manufacturing engineering staffing Mentor upcoming\nmanufacturing engineering talentAutomation and\nDigitization:
Develop site\nautomation, digitization, and capital investment plansMeet automation\ncycle time and output dedication in concert with the site operations team Develop teams and\nsite engineering skills to facilitate automated electronics assembly processesGuide the site\nimplementation of manufacturing digital systems in the electronics assembly\nfactories (including PC board assembly, test, and final assembly)Integrate\ndigitally collected data into the existing continuous improvement operating\nsystem to maximize KPI improvementNPI (New Product\nIntroduction):
Guide site\nengineering teams in transitioning NPI projects from development into\nproductionCoordinate with\nthe site AME team, AME NPI, and design engineering personnel to drive critical\nproducibility needs into incoming designsEngage program\nmanagement to balance site NPI workload with NPI launch schedulesCapacity and\nCapital:
Oversee a capital\nexpenditure budget exceeding $3 million Work with site leadership\nto continuously prioritize, initiate, and execute capital projectsContinuously\nadjust site equipment capacity to meet immediate needsMaintain systems\nto continuously manage site equipment capacity and rapidly respond to demand\nchangesTechnologies:
Manufacturing data\ncollection digital systems operation and deployment (Ignition, Arch, etc.)Robotics\nimplementation in light assembly, such as screw shooting and pick-and-place\napplicationsManufacturing\nEquipment Maintenance:
