Senior Advanced Systems Engineer- Tracking Systems Engineer

$82.19-$87.19/Hour
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program within the PWSA initiative, continuing the development and integration of Ground Segment (GS) systems, including SUPERNOVAs, NOVAs, ground entry points (GEP), and associated ground networks.Support work across Enterprise, GS, and GMI levels for T2 operations, with a focus on satellite and ground segment communication and integration.Apply systems engineering expertise to enable effective ground-to-satellite communications and support advanced modeling, simulation, and integration tasks.Provide advanced systems engineering expertise to develop, integrate, and enhance satellite communication systems within the PWSA program's Ground Management and Integration initiative.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field, with 8+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.Clearance:
Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.Preferred Technical Experience:
Knowledge of satellite communications and ground-to-satellite operations.Experience with systems engineering (SE), Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and tracking systems.Proficiency in tools such as STK, Python, CAMEO, or MATLAB.Aerospace experience, particularly in IRPL modeling and tracking payloads.Strong background in software, cloud, modeling, and simulation within space systems.Other Skills:
Thorough knowledge of technology trends and a willingness to drive process improvements.Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience in negotiation and achieving win-win solutions for complex customer requirements.Your Recruiter Still have questions?
