Overview of The Role

The Senior Advisor, Instructional Design/Learning Technology will oversee the design, development, and implementation of instructional materials and learning technologies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in instructional design, e-learning, and technology integration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences that meet the Business needs of diverse learners.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:

Lead the instructional design team in the creation of high-quality, innovative learning solutions.

Develop and implement instructional strategies that align with organizational goals and learner needs.

Oversee the selection and integration of existing and new learning technologies, including LMS, e-learning platforms, and multimedia tools.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Conduct needs assessments and analyze learner feedback to continuously improve learning programs.

Partner with L&D, Operations team and other stakeholders as required to confidently deliver and execute initiatives in ways to ensure consistency in learning and development efforts.

Promote and encourage best practices and new ideas to L&D and Operations team.

Collaborate with the L&D Design and Project Management Teams to adapt the product and process to align with the overall organizational strategy.

Monitor, produce & evaluate the program performance metrics to ensure ongoing program benefits to enhance the learner’s experience and business health.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of learning initiatives.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and learning technology.

Provide training and support to staff on the use of learning technologies and instructional design principles.

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, OR equivalent related experience.

Minimum of 7 + years of experience in instructional design and learning technology.

Proven experience in managing instructional design projects and teams.

Proven project management capabilities.

Strong knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex learning challenges.

Familiarity with multimedia tools and technology integration.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

As part of their duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.

SALARY RANGE: $78,170– $102,600

*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
