Join the Gold Fields Global Asset Optimisation team in this site-based role, where you'll drive Asset Optimisation programs to unlock asset value by continuously improving processes and systems, enhancing operational efficiency.
Role Overview:
Supported by the Superintendent Asset Optimisation at Granny Smith, you will investigate and analyse operational processes to identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities. You'll collaborate with senior management, site leadership, and operations teams to align short-term initiatives with long-term goals and ensure the effective deployment of AO systems and programs.

This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

In this role, you will be responsible for;
Project Facilitation: Lead and facilitate projects from the pipeline to meet business plans, acting as a Business Improvement (BI) Subject Matter Expert and internal consultant.
Business Improvement & Change Management: Implement business improvement practices and change management at the department level, supporting local leadership and site strategies.
Coaching & Learning: Co-facilitate BI learning sessions, providing coaching to change leaders and their sponsors across various areas.
Strategy Development: Contribute to site strategy development and ensure compliance with reporting requirements to achieve set goals.
Management Operating System Implementation: Collaborate with area leads to install and oversee the effective use and auditing of the Management Operating System.
Communication & Change Strategy: Play an integral role in the development and execution of communication and change management strategies for business improvement initiatives.
Process Improvement Identification: Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in current business processes at a transactional level to drive further efficiencies.
Our ideal candidate, will have;
Significant experience in a Senior level role focusing on business improvement, systems, and organisational change models.
Experience working on an operational mine with management operating systems is ideal.
Qualifications in Project Management or significant experience with a strong understanding of PM principles.
Black Belt Six Sigma Certification.
Strong communication with ability to engage, influence and solve problems.
Advanced ability for statistical analysis and associated statistical software.
Advanced MS Office knowledge.
