Become a Senior Advisor Contractor Management at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll join the Environmental Management System team responsible for building, implementing, communicating, and maintaining SCE’s environmental management system (EMS). You will work with environmental program managers and operational partners across the enterprise to build, implement and run an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001 aligned EMS. You’ll lead cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration of environmental expectations into contracts company-wide. You will interact regularly with SCE senior management and executives to provide contractor environmental performance metrics, innovative strategies, and recommendations for ensuring environmental compliance integration into contracts and helping to create a culture of continuous improvement. You will partner with the Contractor Management Office and Procurement teams to ensure environmental expectations are embedded and met throughout the entire lifecycle of a contract.. Responsibilities Leads the strategic direction of monthly Contractor performance reviews Company wide, including meeting with OU leads/SMEs to assist in the design and implementation of CPM tools (Scorecards, Triggers & Controls, etc.) across the enterprise Develops and implements new strategies, polices and programs related to CPM on an enterprise level Serves as the SME on all aspects of CPM strategies, polices and programs Provides coaching and mentoring to SCE’s Authorized Edison Representatives (AER) in the elements of CPM across the enterprise Leads, supports and works with Corporate entities on new or enhanced strategies, policies and procedures as they relate to SCE’s Contractors Leads the strategic development of performance metrics reports on CPM and compliance across the enterprise Develops Corporate Tier 1 Metrics for use by SCE in ascertaining Company performance regarding CPM activities Develops Executive Presentations on CPM activities and present at various Executive forums (ORF, OPCO SOC, etc.) A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Ten or more years of experience providing oversight and governance of Contractor Performance Management (CPM) strategies, policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in contract management.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher Degree Certified Professional of Contract Management Experience in environemental, health, or safety contract management.  ISO 14001 Certification PMP Certification Lean Six Sigma Proven ability to rapidly learn and assimilate complex and technical information in unfamiliar situations and be able to effectively communicate it in a non-technical manner Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills Ability to analyze complex regulatory and business problems and create innovative solutions

 

Additional Information

This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
