In this highly collaborative role, you are mainly responsible for developing and leading change management strategies, engagement activities, and departmental communications for Legal Services. Working with multidisciplinary teams, and often directly with senior leaders, you will also support departmental strategic planning and executing operational projects and initiatives to align Legal Services people, processes, and technology for Legal Services.

What You Will Do:

Develops and deploys Agile and PROSCI-based plans for project planning and execution and the people side of change for projects of moderate to large size and complexity with cross functional work streams that involve changes to business processes, systems, and technology.

Works independently with Legal Services stakeholders to lead and design process development from concept to implementation.

Establish an effective change network for dissemination information to impacted users; and ensure user ease of adoption to support the organization in achieving sustainable processes.

Coordinates stakeholder engagement activities including communications and training for internal and external stakeholders that influence change and drive adoption of processes, tools, and technology.

Coaches and advises Legal Services stakeholders on ownership of legal systems and processes, drives standardization and increased sharing of best practices across the department.

Who You Are:

University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Economics, Law, Organizational Behavior, Psychology, Communications, Education).

7+ years of related broad business experience; experience focused on large and/or transformational process change and management is required. Digital transformations, system upgrades, migrations experience is considered an asset.

Strong and diverse communication skills; the ability to relate to lawyers and the broader Legal Services community is essential.

Experience with technical writing and process development is required.

Strong organizational skills, ability to work flexibly (in groups or independently) and to meet deadlines; self-motivated and proactive.

Legal experience is an asset.

PROSCI certified is preferred.

Working Conditions:

Office environment.

Approximately 5% of travel may be required within Canada and the U.S. (valid passport required).
