About the Role 

As the Sr. AI Tech Scout, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for the exploration, evaluation, and benchmarking of cutting-edge AI technologies from startups’ latest offerings to new features from major players like Microsoft and OpenAI. 

Oversee the testing, analysis, and comparison of new AI models, techniques, and tooling solutions, ensuring alignment with Crowe’s strategic objectives. 

Develop and refine comprehensive frameworks for evaluating AI technologies that inform critical buy-build decisions, firm investments, and client advisory. 

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological advancements, regulatory changes, and industry trends to guide the team’s focus and methodologies. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, risk, and privacy, to ensure that recommended AI solutions meet compliance and ethical standards. 

Champion the dissemination of technological insights and findings across the organization; collaborate with Enablement team to upskill colleagues on new AI tools. 

Required Skills 

Experience managing small technical teams, with a focus on innovation and strategic analysis. 

Expertise in data science and machine learning technologies, with specific knowledge in areas like Generative AI and Large Language Models.

Experience using low- and no-code solutions to build and test machine learning models, such as VectorShift, Dataiku, and Microsoft’s Copilot Studio.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize findings into actionable insights. 

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including to non-technical stakeholders at various levels. 

Robust understanding of the ethical, security, and privacy considerations in deploying AI solutions; familiarity with common risk and compliance frameworks, such as NIST and SOC 2.  

Demonstrated ability to anticipate market trends and align technological capabilities with business needs. 

Experience developing and implementing testing frameworks and methodologies.
