POSITION In this role, you will thrive in leading various engineering project design opportunities . The Senior Engineer will champion and lead the planning and design of airport projects for clients across a spectrum of project work from facilities, terminals, runways, navigation, and airspace studies to water, gas, and power design and analysis. These responsibilities include: + Expertly collaborates with clients to grasp project vision. + Oversee and lead project lifecycle from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget. + Utilize design software for drafting plans and modeling. + Applies FAA and airport safety knowledge in design work. + Evaluate quality assurance and quality controls on project work within the team. + Analyze system deficiencies and provide improvement alternatives to meet project goals. + Applies technical writing skills for Request for Proposals, report writing, project specifications, and memorandums. + Ensures precision and safety through meticulous design. + Tackles design challenges creatively, resolving complex problems. + Engage with community members, government officials, and other stakeholders to communicate project goals, address concerns, and gather input. + Develop, inspire, and mentor reporting personnel. + Stays aware of federal regulations that impact the aviation industry. + Identifies and pursues new business opportunities, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. “Our supportive environment empowers employee-owners to grow their skills, tackle challenging projects, pursue their goals, and advance their careers professionally and financially. YOUR STRENGTHS + Professional Engineering (PE) license or able to obtain soon after hire + Bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering or equivalent + Minimum 8+ years’ experience with airport design/construction projects + Advanced project management experience leading complex projects + Strong financial acumen + Working knowledge of FAA regulations and airport safety + Understanding of design software (e.g., Civil3D, Blue Beam) + Proven client growth mindset + A valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record is required for periodic travel Morrison-Maierle is not accepting 3rd party agency solicitation requests.
