We are looking for a Senior Analyst – Controlling to join our growing Client Accounting Team in Finland within the Property Management department of CBRE Finland.
**About us**
The Client Accounting Team provides a wide range of services, from straightforward property accounting to consolidated IFRS reporting – and anything in between. We manage the financial performance of properties, including client reporting, statutory financials, forecasting and tax compliance. The services we deliver are tailored to meet client requirements and executed with the support of our in-house Finance team.
**What will you be doing?**
In this role, you will deliver comprehensive Controlling services to clients, including international and Finnish-based Investment and Asset Managers. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders, such as financial specialists, lease administrators, property and technical managers, and dedicated Client Managers. Understanding client requirements and ensuring efficient ways of working are essential.
You will maintain and build strong relationships both internally and externally with the financial team, property management team, other business functions, partners, and clients. You’ll have the support of professional yet easy-going finance colleagues.
You understand real estate, financial standards, and processes. You are a productive, energetic, and capable of handling tight deadlines. You thrive in environments that involve people, processes, and change, and you approach challenges with curiosity and a development-oriented mindset. **Your key responsibilities:**
+ Plan, schedule, and manage finance-related tasks in alignment with the Client Engagement Letter
+ Execute finance-related services for clients, collaborating with team members. An autonomous role that offers opportunities to influence work processes professionally, supported by experienced colleagues
+ Manage customer expectations and act as the key finance contact for selected clients
+ Support the Client Manager from a financial perspective
+ Actively foster long-term client relationships
+ Share experiences and insights across the finance client teams, and escalate issues to the Director, Client Accounting, and the Client Manager with proposed solutions
+ Opportunity to develop expertise and achieve excellence as a top-notch real estate controller
+ Leverage client insights to support and lead the development of services based on market needs
**What are we looking for?**
**To succeed in this role, you should have:**
+ At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, controlling, or similar roles, preferably in real estate
+ A drive and can-do attitude combined with excellent teamwork skills
+ A background in auditing, accounting or controlling, enabling a comprehensive understanding of interconnected processes
+ A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
+ Solid proficiency in FAS (knowledge of real estate accounting, IFRS, CIT, and VAT is a plus)
+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP / accounting systems and reporting software
+ An ability to understand the big picture and how elements interrelate
+ Proven experience working with varied clients or multiple companies is a plus
+ Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, both verbal and written
