Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive FP&A SR. Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting the finance department through management reporting, and analysis that will help drive the performance of our business lines, specifically focusing on Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Field Services in Brazil. This position is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for driving business performance in a service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage detailed financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. Analyze variances between actual and budgeted performance and prepare actionable insights for senior leadership.
+ Strategic Business Support: Partner with operational teams to provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize performance. Support decision-making by providing clear and concise financial analysis and risk assessments.
+ Data Analysis: Develop and maintain data models that allow for “slice and dice” data capabilities, ensuring that reports are dynamic, detailed, and useful for the management team.
+ Reporting and Dashboards: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Create and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking business performance.
+ Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and other ad hoc financial analyses as needed. Provide data-driven recommendations to address business challenges and opportunities.
+ Accounting Processes: Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, helping to balance workloads within the team and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
+ System & Process: Evaluate systems, map out processes, review and propose new procedures, drive implementation through the RFP process, and ensure seamless navigation across different levels within the organization.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related finance role, preferably in a service-based industry.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Advanced Excel skills: experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
+ Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
+ Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
+ Ability to work independently and cross-functionally while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Advanced/Fluent English
+ Project Management certification or relevant qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
