Location: hybrid in Princeton, NJ / Rockville MD; or Remote **Job Summary:** This position has responsibility for pharmaceutical and business intelligence research and analysis to support global business decisions in R&D, business development, pharmacovigilance, commercialization and beyond. It requires working with clients to understand their needs, expertise in advanced research in specialized licensed information tools, and synthesis of key results. The position will also develop and manage information alerts and support global user access and training. **Job Description** + Provides customized information strategies, solutions, and services for internal clients globally to support business decisions in clinical development, business development, safety, regulatory, commercialization, and more. + Works with clients to understand their information needs; uses specialized resources to conduct advanced research; evaluates, analyzes, synthesizes, and delivers quality results. + Monitors product/compound developments and industry trends to provide competitive and business intelligence that supports internal clients with strategic planning and operations. + Supports IRC online databases and application systems administration, including answering user questions, troubleshooting problems, and developing solutions and enhancements. + Assists in developing and conducting user training programs by identifying needs, leveraging resources, and implementing processes for measuring effectiveness. + Assists in marking and promoting online resources and services. + Support or lead department projects or initiatives as assigned. **Required** Knowledge/ Experience and Skills: + Master's degree in Library Science/Information Science/Sciences + 4+years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical industries + Advanced capabilities with specialized pharmaceutical and business information resources such as Dialog, Cortellis, Citeline Suite, EvaluatePharma, Factiva, Adis, RightFind Enterprise and EBSCO + Strong ability to identify and solve problems effectively with creative or innovative solutions.
