The Senior Analyst in the Global People Analytics (GPA) Team will support the development and maintenance of GPA tools, dashboards, and security access. This role collaborates with the team to create and update Tableau and Power BI dashboards for HR Leadership, Business Partners, and key stakeholders. Responsibilities include sourcing, cleaning, and processing data from multiple environments. The analyst will also manage the full dashboard lifecycle, from gathering requirements to design, development, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Responsibilities:
Support the build and enhancement of Tableau dashboards related to workforce trends and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support the development of Power BI Dashboards
Merge/join large datasets, clean/restructure data coming from multiple systems, manage and maintain security / AD user groups for Dashboard Access
Proficient in building Level of Detail (LOD) expressions with dynamic calculations utilizing parameters
Analyze trends and leverage expertise in data visualization to build dashboard visuals that facilitate quick and easy interpretation of the data and identification of key insights
Continuously identify process improvements to implement changes as needed and research new visualization techniques and stay on top of emerging people analytics trends and best practices in the data visualization realm.
Communicate with relevant teams to remedy data integrity issues
Audit data and calculations in dashboards on a regular basis, testing results against excel comparisons, ensuring consistency of calculations and metrics across dashboards. Ensure metric alignment with Workday reports and dashboards.
Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual & ad-hoc reporting and analytics processes as necessary
Develop training and support materials for end-users on how to access, navigate and interpret dashboards.
Create detailed documentation on the end-to-end build and refresh process for each dashboard from data sources to publishing to users.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics and visualization, statistics, analytics, or related discipline
3+ years of working experience with HR and Compensation data and people analytics with a demonstrable understanding of common workforce metrics and how and where to apply them
Advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel, Tableau and Tableau prep with experience of developing and publishing dashboards
Preferred experience with Workday
Preferred experience with Python, SQL, Power BI and DAX, data warehouse solutions and database management systems
Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to use data, analytics, and business knowledge to present effective visualizations
