HybridAs a Senior Analyst in GT Technology Management, you will play a crucial role in navigating the complexities of U.S. export and import regulations, ensuring compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), and the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS). In-depth Knowledge of Export & Import Regulations: Gain comprehensive expertise in U.S. regulations such as EAR, ITAR, and HTS, learning how these laws shape the aerospace industry and ensure compliance in a global marketAdvanced Classification Techniques: Learn to classify complex aerospace products accurately under JC and HTS systems, expanding your technical proficiency in navigating classification repositories and systemsProcess Improvement & Metrics: Work alongside senior classifiers to improve classification processes, metrics tracking, and implement best practices in trade complianceCross-functional Collaboration: Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including legal, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure seamless trade compliance across various projectsExposure to Cutting-edge Aerospace Technology: Dive into the world of aerospace technology, gaining hands-on experience with specialized systems like GTS, OCR, MKDenial, xClass, and TEXPORT, all while advancing your understanding of aerospace complianceQualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experienceU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirementsQualifications We Prefer:
BS/MS Engineering or Business Administration Engineering and/or technical background Aerospace (program/technical) experience Experience with classifications under the World Customs Organization (WCO) HTS Experience with US Export (classification) Regulations; specifically the EAR and the Commerce Control List (CCL), ITAR and the United States Munitions List (USML) 1 to 2 years working with GT and related export/HTS classification matters Experience with Collins/RTX current trade compliance related processes (classifications, authorizations, logging, compliant transfer modes, record keeping, etc.) and Collins specific GT related systems (GTS, OCR, MKDenial, xClass, TEXPORT) is a plusWhat We Offer:
