Get to Know the Opportunity:
As a key member of Voya Investment Management’s COO organization, you will oversee the pricing and fair value of public assets across all asset types. The individual will report to the Vice President – Securities Pricing & Fair Value. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring appropriate valuation for public assets for Voya Investment Management.
Please Note: This position will be based in either our New York, NY or Atlanta, GA offices and has been designated as a hybrid-office/home role. Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager.
The Contributions You'll Make:
Pricing Accuracy & Controls: Produce timely daily and periodic controls within the Pricing & Valuation team.
Vendor Pricing Data: Liaise with our respective vendors to resolve pricing data questions.
Committee Participation & Ownership: Participate in quarterly Valuation Committee meetings. Compile and present Committee materials at recurring meetings.
Key Controls: Ensure daily and periodic controls are completed on a timely and accurately. Responsible for ensuring compliance with key controls.
Audit Support and Validation: Coordinate and respond to internal and external auditors, as well external clients, on pricing related inquiries.
Liaison and Coordination: Monitor requests and issues related to vendor intermediary platforms. Liaison between vendor and other internal teams and, as needed, create and resolve custom security breaks.
Data Requests: Promptly respond to investment pricing requests from key customers, including traders, portfolio managers, sales, and client service personnel to support questions related to pricing of the asset.
Fair Value Analysis: In cases where a fair value is required, this role will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators to assess the value of various investment instruments.
Key Project Support: Partake in key initiatives across the firm to cover aspects related to pricing & valuation.
Due Diligence: Perform recurring due diligence conversations of pricing vendors.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with key stakeholders within the firm on valuation topics. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including investment managers, risk managers, compliance, client teams, and senior leadership, to align functional team initiatives and strategies with broader firm objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor and deliver solutions to meet client needs.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment pricing and valuation
Proven track record of success in building and leading high-performing teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of investment products, asset classes, and financial markets.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute business plans that drive growth and operational efficiency.
Proven track record of driving process improvements and managing complex projects.
Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to investment management.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
