The team you will be a part of The Information Systems team is responsible for implementation of the enterprise architecture and the development and maintenance of the organization's computing/IT environment. Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications.This role in summary

Whirlpool is currently looking for qualified candidates for the role of Global Information
Technology Senior Analyst.
This role will be located in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. This role will closely collaborate with
various business partners, Global Information Technology, (GIT) teams and external parties
across Latin America Region (LAR) to evaluate and provide recommendations for delivery and
support solutions both technical and process related.
The IT Senior Analyst is a crucial role within Whirlpool, responsible for bridging the gap between
IT and the business. Incumbent would be responsible for analyzing business requirements,
identifying and defining solutions, and translating these requirements into technical
specifications and solutions. As an IT Senior Analyst, you will work closely with business
stakeholders and IT teams to ensure that the technology solutions align with business
objectives and user needs.

Your responsibilities will include

Gathering and analyzing business requirements: You will work with stakeholders to identify
business needs, gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications. You
will have the possibility to use your knowledge and expertise to identify areas for
improvement and propose solutions.
● Documenting requirements: you will ensure to document the requirements into a clear and
concise manner, ensuring that they are understandable by both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.

● Developing solutions: You will liaise with internal and external technical teams to ensure the
solutions get developed, you will collaborate with other departments/Business Functions to
ensure that the solutions are integrated with existing systems and processes from
end-to-end perspective.
● Collaborate with IT development teams and vendors to ensure that the technology solutions
meet the documented requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
● Delivery: you will be responsible to ensure that the project is developed to meet business
requirements, is delivered on time and within the budget.
● Communication: you will have the possibility to apply your great communication skills by
communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing
training and support to the end users, where needed. They must be able to explain technical
concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical
specifications for IT.
● Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to business analysis and
technology solutions.
● Engage in capability and technology roadmap development for D2C ecommerce.
● Work closely with business partners, GIT, and external vendors/consultant partners to
translate business requirements into technical solutions and translate technical solution
requirements and implications back to the Sales and Product Marketing teams
● Provide leadership to the cross-functional teams to deliver projects and enhancements
● Lead and facilitate efforts designed to improve overall processes and systems while
maintaining an absolute focus on the customer.
These efforts include initiatives such as reducing defects, blockers, driving work out of our
processes, reducing cycle time and driving control plans
● Learn new business processes and technologies
● Keep abreast of new technologies and industry strategies and identify opportunities for
improvement
● Document Statements of Work (SOW) and manage contractors and/or system
implementation resources against SOW deliverables and terms.
● Act in absence of other functional and technical resources
● Mentor, coach, and provide direction to direct/indirect team members
● Keep privacy and security of data and systems top of mind

Minimum requirements

Bachelor's degree or a 4 year college degree in Information Technology or related field.
● 5+ years of experience as a Senior IT Analyst or Technical Lead, preferably in the
Manufacturing industry related to Digital/D2C & Ecommerce
● Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical
specifications.
● 3+ years of experience working with front-end and back-end web development projects
● Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, and other
web services used in the system

● Experience with version control systems, such as Git
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate
technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
● Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) is a
plus.
● Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken

Preferred skills and experiences

eCommerce Platforms:
● Deep understanding of major eCommerce platforms (e.g., Vtex, Magento,
Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, WooCommerce).
○ Understanding in Vtex is a plus
● Experience with integrating eCommerce platforms with other systems (e.g., ERP,
CRM, payment gateways).
Digital Marketing Tools:
● Proficiency with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads,
Facebook Ads, HubSpot, Marketo).
● Knowledge of SEO/SEM strategies and tools.
Web Technologies:
● Familiarity with web technologies.
○ Proficiency in React and NodeJS fundamentals
● Understanding of web development frameworks and Content Management
Systems (CMS).
Data Analysis and Reporting:
● Strong skills in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
● Ability to interpret and analyze web analytics and performance metrics.
API Integration:
● Experience with API development and integration.
● Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
Database Management:
● Understanding of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Security and Compliance:
● Awareness of eCommerce security best practices.
● Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).

● Business acumen: Candidates should have a deep understanding of business operations
and processes, and be able to identify areas for improvement that can help drive
efficiency and profitability.
● Communication skills: Candidates should be able to communicate complex information
in a clear and concise manner, and be able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders

● Change management: Candidates should have experience with change management
and be able to implement solutions that minimize disruption to business operations.
