Senior Analyst, Learning & Development

 

Job Summary

In support of the agency’s learning and development strategy, the senior analyst is responsible for the development, adoption, and efficacy of existing and future learning programs. They will partner closely with leaders, subject matter experts, and employees across the agency to support a complex and evolving environment. Driven by data, they will assess, inform, create, and evaluate learning programs for internal and external stakeholders.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Compliance

1. Develops and drives adoption of analytical tools needed for training compliance across the agency.

2. Partnering closely with the LMS administrator and business leaders, maintains business and funder requirement documentation and LMS configurations for the automation of enrollments.

Analysis & Development

3. Creates proposals based on data analysis to educate, inform, and influence business partners on learning execution and prioritization while supporting business objectives.

4. Collaborates with cross functional partners to design and develop learning programs using a model such as ADDIE (Assess, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate).

5. Partnering closely with Learning Manager, evaluates existing learning and development programs for efficacy.

6. Organize, manage, and execute all facets of course updates including content authoring, enrollments, session schedules and communication.

7. Supports learning and development program development for outside participants as a means of generating revenue and increasing organization visibility and credibility.

8. Manages the process and maintenance of instructor-led training schedule to optimize the balance of resources (instructor and room), demand and throughput.

Strategic Agility

9. Remains curious to find process improvement opportunities and BAMSI University (Learning Management System) enhancements for decreased administration and increased automation.

10. Stays up to date on the learning industry’s technologic advancements and evaluates potential impact to accessibility and adult learning comprehension.

Job Requirements

 Demonstrated competency of learning program evaluation and instructional design based in adult learning principles. Demonstrated competence in analysis such as conducting focus groups, organizing and analyzing data, and preparing reports or recommendationsStrong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders and on multiple projects at the same time.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, content authoring tools (Articulate 360 preferred), and learning management systems (Docebo preferred).Excellent written and spoken English skills required. Demonstrated ability to communicate and effectively interact with people across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, ethnicities, and races.


Education/Licensure Requirements

Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience required, preferably in Education, Training/Development, business or public administration or a related field.Valid driver’s license in state of residence and own means of transportation required to travel to external training sites and other locations.


Physical Requirements

The work environment is hybrid and will vary based on the needs of the project or training. Work is primarily sedentary and is performed in an office, home office, program or training classroom. Work requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Repetitive and substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual and verbal acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; providing instruction in classroom, field or virtual; extensive reading.

Salary: 67,000 - 85,000
