The Payment Capabilities & Enablement team is dedicated to driving organic spend growth and share of wallet with Canadian Cardmembers and Clients. This role focuses on delivering seamless payment experiences.  As well as managing Small Business Marketing initiatives, including event planning, overseeing third party agency relationships, and collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to enhance our support for our Small Business Cardmembers.

How will you make an impact in this role?

You will be responsible for managing payment form factors (e.g., chip & PIN, contactless, mobile wallets), optimizing customer journeys, and executing marketing initiatives to engage Cardmembers and enable spend diversification across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute marketing strategies to achieve key business objectives, including driving organic spend, increasing share of wallet, and promoting behaviors such as contactless adoption, online spending, recurring bill payments, and spend diversification. Ensure seamless customer experiences across payment solutions like chip & PIN, contactless payments, mobile wallets, SafeKey, Click to Pay, and other online and in-app payment capabilities. Analyze key metrics, trends, and channel performance to provide strategic recommendations for optimizing customer journeys and driving incremental billings. Manage end-to-end campaign execution for proven spend enablement tactics across channels, including email, paid social, direct mail, and Amex.ca placements, while testing new ideas. Plan and execute events.  Manage relationships with internal and external partners including public relations, merchant marketing, product management, legal, compliance and advertising agencies. Manage project budgets and timelines to consistently deliver timely communications.

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong focus on innovation with the ability to lead projects from conception to implementation and evaluation. Proven ability to challenge the status quo to improve processes, campaigns, and assets. Exceptional multi-tasking, project management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment. Strong relationship-building, collaboration, influencing, and communication skills across diverse stakeholders. Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners. Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive insights to support strategic decision-making Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ONE CMS, iMH, Salesforce.
