Role & Responsibilities:

The role focuses on informing and developing strategic material related initiatives taking into account risk management and financial impact. It is covering both short and long-term strategies, responsible to support the project management, progress tracking and coordination of all the materials development projects.

Working closely with GMS and brand leadership, Intelligence team to conduct research and analysis on geopolitical and commodity trends, building a regular cadence to drive insights to inform product and costing decisions. Frequent influential communication to Management level is required

Material Sourcing Strategy:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize supply chain operations.Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.Understand and build the consideration of cost implication on duty and trade preference in each finished product sourcing countries to identify the optimal material souring strategyDrive the analytic works and provide insight on Material consolidation projects. Identify the opportunities to elevate material choices and optimize the cost efficiency.

Costing

Analyse cost structures and identify cost-saving opportunities with collaboration with MCI team.Monitor and report on cost performance against target – MPCIDrive the down allocation strategy to mitigate the risk of supply and cost stability

Process Enhancement:

Tracking the brand GTM calendar milestone activities to ensure the material operation tasks are on trackIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.Utilize data analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience

Minimum Relevant Experience:  Minimum 5 years’ experience in related subjectsMinimum Supervisory Experience:Nature of Work: Sustainable Materials Sourcing
