What Contracts and Billing contributes to Cardinal Health

Contracts and Billing is responsible for finance related activities such as customer and vendor contract administration, customer and vendor pricing, rebates, billing (including drop-ships), processing chargebacks and vendor invoices, developing and negotiating customer and group purchasing contracts.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams

Demonstrates experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls

Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support

Demonstrates ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers

Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred

2+ years' experience preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and Access

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Previous experience of chargebacks and contracts ideal

Sense of urgency, attention to detail and accountability needed

Ability to build strong collaborative relationships and communicates effectively

Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks 

Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity 

Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve 

Applies judgment within defined parameters 

Receives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy 

 

Anticipated salary range: $56,200 - $80,400
