We are looking for a buyer of Capex Tooling & Equipment as part Project Management in the Procurement team to serve all Whirlpool Categories (Refrigeration, Laundry, Dishwasher, Cooking, Microwave Oven and Air Conditioner) to support all LAR South (Brazil and Argentina operations) and report to a local manager.
The Buyer collaborates closely with other departments such as manufacturing, engineering, and legal to understand requirements and make informed purchasing decisions. Additionally, this role may involve maintaining relationships with suppliers, monitoring market trends, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
Preferred skills and experiences Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or ProcurementExperience in Procurement Demonstrate practical use of supplier management and sourcing principlesNegotiation, conflict resolution and management skillsManage and prioritize multiple activitiesFinancial Management and forecastingSelf-driven approach towards deliveries and a good team playerSAP knowledgeOffice/Google main tools knowledgeTechnical backgroundBuild strong rapport and relationships with internal process partners and suppliersDriven individual with a vision and work ethic required for future growthSpanish skills to communicate an understanding
