Lead the Automation team for both Laundry & Refrigeration processes within Horizon Plant, with spirit of winning & One Whirlpool mindset, to comply with maintenance & operational KPIs and continuously improving through the implementation of WCM Methodology.
Your responsibilities will include
Support the MES enterprise plan rollout, focusing on manufacturing use, adoption, and embedment.
Development and improvement of Allen Bradley PLC Machine Controls (Logix 5000, SLC 500, Panelview HMI)
Creation of Ignition Vision and Perspective applications & templates to meet factory immediate needs
Utilization and deployment of SQL Databases, APIs (FastAPI), and BigQuery cloud environments
Creating PLC templates and frameworks to facilitate new machine integration
Work with highly technical teams of engineers, including vendors and contractors
Creation of Business Cases & RFQs (Request for Quote), and perform associated project management tasks
Work collaboratively with cross-functional peers to assess priorities and create robust and flexible technology solutions
Use WCM methodology to improve overall equipment effectiveness
Lead troubleshooting in automation related issues during production
Ensure that the team has correct and clear information needed to deliver KPIs crucial for business.
Budget control & monitoring for the area.
Skill trades development & succession planning.
Minimum requirementsEngineering Degree
4+ years experience in manufacturing leading people, knowledge in maintenance management systems, diagrams/drawings, project management and basic finance.
Advanced English (written and spoken)
G-Suite basic knowledge (G-mail, Sheets, Documents, Presentations)
3+ years PLC programming and technical project execution experience

Software Programming Experience (Python, Java, SQL, Angular, HTML, CSS, SCADA)
Experience with Ignition MES software by Inductive Automation (Ignition 7.9 or 8.1)

Networking experience as it applies to manufacturing and OT (Stratix, Cisco, Wireless Access Points, Vlans)
Additional informationAbility to travel 10%-15%
Able to work shifts & Sundays
