What is the Opportunity?

You will provide exceptional trade support coverage for Quantitative Strategies Group trading desks.

Your primary focus will be on day-to-day deliverables, developing solutions based upon subject expertise, and occasionally representing the department or function at a broader level. You will need to document procedures and process flows independently, perform user testing for process enhancements and be the go-to-person for day-to-day questions from other areas.

What will you do?

Day-to-day focus is on resolution of complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines or processes.Assist in the research and resolution of various equity and fixed income corporate actions, including processing on behalf of the trading desk.Review and resolve all position, trade and cash reconciliation breaks across RBC’s systems.Roles at this level would usually have full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural \"experts\" representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.Booking of Bond, Equity, ETF, Future, Swap and FX trades from trade desk instructionBooking of ETF Creation/Redemption transactions and cash components/feesTrade confirmations for multiple desks within QSG.Products covered include: ETF Creation/Redemptions, Treasuries, Corporates, Domestic/International Equities, Municipals, CLOs, ABS, MBS, CMO, FX, Futures, Swaps and Options.Monitor regulatory reporting exceptions thru surveillance and daily reports.Manage the onboarding process for trade desks counterparties.Liaise with multiple teams for to resolve settlement and trade matching exceptions.Test new products and flows as the trading system enhancements.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $75,000- $105,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
