This role is responsible for analyzing and resolving problems, providing insights, and identifying areas for improvement. As a Senior Analyst, Quality Analytics, you must have a passion for data analytics and visualization to generate valuable insights and foster a culture of accountability and data-driven decision-making within the quality organization You will need to absorb and act on complex procedures and data and take pride in getting things done quickly without sacrificing safety or quality.

What you'll be doingIndependently process high volumes of internal/external data following established procedures and work instructionsWork with Quality Data Owners to procure internal data to generate insightsPresent data driven insights and findings to all levels of the Quality organizationAbility to collect, clean and aggregate data from multiple data sources while validating data integrity and accuracy. Understand the various systems that house quality data and records, depending on the information required.Take concepts and high-level direction to successfully translate data into appropriate analysis and visualization.Generate ad hoc reports, develop analytics tools, and use visualization/BI tools to create automated dashboards. Develop intuitive, coherent, and easy to follow reports in different software programs (Tableau, Power BI) that align with quality requirements and information requests.Collaborate cross-functionally on complaint trend monitoring, evaluation, and investigation of signals and potential trends.Works independently and with different functions/sites of the organization to resolve moderately complex issues.Support internal corporate, notified bodies, third party, and regulatory audits as needed with management supervision
What you'll bringBachelors Degree Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or Informatics degree is required3+ years of experience in a position that works with data such as data analytics, data science or medical device positionsData analysis professional certifications are preferred but not requiredAttention to detail and accuracy is requiredAction oriented and continuous improvement attitude required. Perseverance, problem solving and learning skills are strongly preferredAbility to work within deadlines, and work on multiple simultaneous projectsExcellent written and verbal skills as well as good interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skillsExperience with data visualization and reporting tools such as IBM COGNOS, MySQL, Tableau or Power BIAdapts to changes in the work environment; handles competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected eventsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft systems (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with Microsoft Data Analytics toolset (Power Automate, Power Query, Power Apps, Fabric) is preferredProficiency with SQL, VBA, and experience with a data driving programming language (R, Python) preferredSolid foundation in KPI/Metric development, descriptive and inferential statistics is preferredSome experience with Quality System Regulation, Medical Device Regulation, and ISO Quality System preferred

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $76,000 - $104,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or long-term incentive.
