The Refining FP&A Analyst is part of the Refining Headquarters Finance Organization responsible for leveraging their experience and analytical acumen to provide market and business performance insights to refining management and other parties responsible for understanding refining results.
This role affords the opportunity to build relationships with refinery sites and other key internal stakeholders to understand and report refining results and forecasts for decision making. Also, the role will conduct ad-hoc business analysis to support key initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate the analytical skills required for complex analysis and the ability to learn new systems and reporting tools quickly. Given the focus on business insights, the candidate will have exposure to leadership and must exemplify strong communication skills along with attention to detail in execution.
Responsibilities May Include:
Coordinating and reporting Capital, Turnaround & Inventory analysis for all refineries. Preparing and reviewing variance commentary. Researching/understanding/reporting various ad hoc requests. Cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders for context understanding and iterating on analytical deliverables. Reporting results and analysis to Refining Strategy and senior management. Building expertise in the FRAP tool and OneStream. Validating report data and suggestions for improvement. Supporting other initiatives as requested.
Required Qualifications:
