As Senior Analyst, Research and Analysis, you produce periodic and ad hoc analysis to meet the needs of internal clients from all Radio-Canada media lines (radio, television and digital), providing them with insights into the performance of our platforms and those of our competitors.
Your tasks:
Conduct cross-platform (TV/radio/digital) research and analysis on Radio-Canada audiences, programs and products.
Execute projects independently, from initial commissioning by internal clients, choice of methodology and treatment of data, to final presentation of results.
Write effective executive summaries for concepts and analysis results, and deliver oral presentations.
Manage and resolve complex issues.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
Qualifications:
At least three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a similar position
Master’s degree in a relevant field (marketing, e-commerce) or a combination of a degree and equivalent experience
Skills:
Solid research and analysis skills; good statistical knowledge
Proficient knowledge of audience data platform analysis tools such as Adobe Analytics, Comscore or Instar/Numeris (television and radio); skills and experience working with complex databases; knowledge of Power BI or a similar tool
Highly effective communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
Ability to write and present analysis reports; ability to build strong relationships with your internal clients and work well in a team
Passion for media, digital and social platforms (particularly in the news industry)
Excellent knowledge of French
