About the Role
The Economics, Enablement, and Optimization team has several areas of focus:
•\tIdentify short-term revenue opportunities
•\tDrive revenue optimization initiatives in collaboration with Services Business Development teams
•\tLead revenue assurance and leakage initiatives
•\tProvide support to Go-to-Market based initiatives across the Services organization

The Senior Analyst, Revenue Optimization and Go to Market Strategy role is responsible for supporting activities within those areas of focus. Specifically, this role will:
•\tBuild and analyze datasets to identify trends in revenue and profitability, digging deep into insights on a per product and/or per region basis, then identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue
•\tBuild and maintain a pipeline of identified opportunities, then track progress toward objectives
•\tDevelop and drive strategies for optimizing revenue, such as penetrating new regions, adjusting economic models, or leveraging various funding sources
•\tWork with Finance and Product teams to identify potential revenue leakage opportunities (i.e., places where expectations are misaligned with realized revenue)
•\tPerform deep “detective work” into data systems and process flows to identify and resolve the root causes of revenue leakage
•\tCreate clear and concise PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders to support the work of each area of focus
•\tProvide data driven insights to inform the Go-to- Market strategy across the varied range of products, in line with the business’s growth aspirations
•\tWork with multi-functional stakeholders on various synergy-focused initiatives; manage and track progress

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following capabilities:
•\tIntellectual Curiosity: A desire to quickly learn about the various Services lines of business, economic drivers, technical systems, and billing processes
•\tOrganization and Project Management: Break down projects into clear, detailed activities, then execute according to those plans
•\tQuantitative Analysis: Develop accurate financial models and identify insights from those models which can drive effective decisions
•\tAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and effectively build trust-based relationships with partners across Mastercard
•\tAdvanced Excel skills
•\tGood communication skills and ability to convert insights into meaningful projects and initiatives
•\tAbility to connect the dots within the organization and seek out relevant information from different sources
•\tFour or more years of consulting, data analytics, or relevant experience
