This position adheres to and supports the objective and responsibilities of the Risk & Insurance Management Department. The position bears responsibility for the direct support of the planning, implementation, and operation of insurance and risk management programs at the strategic business unit (SBU) and/or corporate level.

• Assist in the review of risks arising from the company’s operations and recommend appropriate contract language, insurance coverage, etc. to minimize risk
• Coordinate and oversee the insurance activities for specific projects within the framework of the Corporation’s worldwide insurance program and practices
• Interface with other groups inside and outside the organization, including direct involvement with Sales/Proposal teams and Legal Services in contract reviews
• May manage specific aspects of certain corporate and or project specific insurance placements
• Interface with internal operations and other corporate functions in the execution of designated responsibilities
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
