REQ8405 Senior Analyst, Strategy and Analytics (Open)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Produce in-depth statistical analysis in order to optimize the table floor with the ultimate goal of maximizing the overall gaming profit, while taking into account the complex interactions between customers and their gaming preferences.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare property level periodic reports of key performance indicators and interpret prevailing trends for review by managementAssist in data-mining and predictive analysis in the gaming fieldReview and validate KPI data, interpret prevailing trends and prepare reports for review by managementLiaise with senior management and able to explain complicated topics in an approachable mannerMaintain several aspects of the data warehouse systemAnalyse a variety of issues on an ad hoc basis as requested by managementBe responsible for auditing reports versus budgetary, historical and industry benchmarksManage small to medium scope projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

Preference is given to candidates with at least three to four years of relevant work experienceCandidates must have a proven track record in highly numerate and analytical rolesPreference is given to candidates with gaming or hospitality experience

Education

Candidates must hold a degree from a major, accredited institution in the fields of hospitality, gaming, statistics, marketing, finance, engineering, business administration or mathematicsPreference is given to candidates with degree in gaming management

Skills / Competencies  

Candidate must have a mature presentation style and be comfortable interacting with senior management continuouslyCandidates should have strong English writing and excellent Cantonese/Mandarin speaking skillsCandidate must be near expert proficiency in MS Excel and quite strong in PowerPointPreference is given to candidates with technical skills in SAS, Tableau, Visual Basic, SQL or CognosStrong project management skills is a must
