How you’ll make an impact: As a member of the Subscriber Planning and Analysis team, you’ll have a key role in putting together forecasts, reports, and executive presentations that influence the business across Marketing, Customer Care, and our colleagues in Finance monitoring key revenue and expense metrics. This role is on the front lines identifying key drivers of performance and setting long and short-term targets for the business. What you’ll do: This position will support the Subscriber Forecasting team by creating and administering various metrics and performance reports. This will require heavy usage of Excel and some usage of SQL code writing. Position will assist Sr. Director in maintaining and updating forecasting models, actualizing and reviewing historical trends and performing ad hoc analysis in support of various subscriber deactivation and acquisition metrics. Supports monthly, quarterly, and long-term subscriber forecasts. Actualizes monthly and weekly reports and models, identifies opportunities/risks, and maintains version control Presents budget vs. actual analysis regularly to team leads Delivers ad-hoc reporting requests and identifies opportunities for automation and process improvement Liaisons with Marketing and Finance stakeholders on key model inputs and assumptions What you’ll need: Bachelors Degree required 2 years, or equivalent, relevant experience working in an analytical or modeling role Strong Excel skills Exposure to statistical analysis and SQL tools a plus Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Good public speaking and presentation skills. Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to pay attention to details and be organized. Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles. Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects. Creative writing ability. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must have legal right to work in the U.S. At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $80,000 to $95,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
