The salary range for this role, based in New York is $88,560.00 to $121,800.00. The range will vary if outside of this location.  Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position. 

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to become an integral part of the US tax team. Reporting to the Tax Director, the Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for a dynamic workload with a primary focus on tax compliance and reporting for domestic and foreign affiliates.

Responsibilities

Prepare the consolidated federal, state and local income tax and non-income tax filingsAssist in the preparation of annual budget, quarterly and year-end tax provisions and reporting packages to HQ, including IFRIC 23Respond to notices and inquiries from taxing authoritiesPrepare monthly tax account reconciliationsAssist in federal and state income and non-income tax auditsOversee the Company’s tax filing calendar and ensure compliance for all federal, state and local filing obligationsAssist in tax research, planning, transfer pricing analysis and ad-hoc projectsWork cross-functionally with other finance teams, including HQ Tax, Accounting, FP&A and affiliatesStay current on technical developments

Requirements

Strong understanding of US corporate tax law4 to 5 years of relevant corporate tax experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a Big 4 firmCPA strongly preferredStrong tax technical background developed from preparation of income tax returnsProficiency in Microsoft Office, OneSource and Bloomberg TaxDetail oriented, with ability to provide clear and concise summationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong work ethic with the capability of working independently with minimal supervision while being a team playerHighly motivated with an eagerness to learn, aptitude for problem solving, and ability to identify opportunities to improve current processes
