What Workforce Optimization contributes to Cardinal Health

Workforce Optimization is responsible for developing and managing forecasting and scheduling models, as well as systems and methodologies needed for analysis, measurement, and assessment of volumes and staffing/scheduling effectiveness, planning and decision-making.

Qualifications
Internals

Open to existing B4s, P1s and P2s with minimum 2 years Workforce Management experienceShould meet IJP qualifications (At least 3.0/ Achieved/ Meets on last performance rating, No existing DA, not under prescriptive period, been in the current role for a minimum 1yr...)

Externals

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent business experienceMinimum of 2 years experience in Workforce Management (real time monitoring)Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reportsDemonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlinesAbility to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and chartsScheduling experience is a plusAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelWorking knowledge with Verint, Genesys or similar WF toolsStrong communication skillsExperience working with internal/ external stakeholders in multiple geographic regionsAnalytical with attention to detailCreative and problem solving orientedProficient in handling Tableau (preferred)Alteryx and Power BI experience (preferred)Willing to work US hours and do rotating shift on Saturdays and work on site (BGC)

What is expected of you and others at this level:

Ability to manage real time adherence in different lines of business in a multi-skill environment simultaneously (shrinkage, service level, under/overstaffing etc.)Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (LOOKUP, INDEX, IFS, pivot tables, MATCH, table arrays)Track system issues and assess the impact on operational performanceConduct trend analysis of call volumes and business activities to anticipate and recommend changes in daily and real time strategiesWorks on projects of moderate scope and complexityIdentifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolveReceives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projectsMaintain databases and regularly examine data reports and accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reportsCreate business reports that provide insight into key data pointsWorks under direct supervision and receives detailed instructionsFollows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems
