SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: 

Process price/bid quote requests and other cross-reference requests 

Prepare batch search lists and process using competitive Intelligence System and other resources to provide competitor cross-references to marketing, sales, product management and other internal needs. 

Maintain cross-references in CIS. 

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION 

Prepare/Normalize competitor data for searching in the web portal tool in the format required by CIS. 

Create the cross-reference match output files for requesters. 

Enter individual cross-references manually using the web portal tool as discovered. 

Ensure timely deliverables 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

Good knowledge of interpreting competitor data to the Life Science/Chemistry product data utilized at Millipore Sigma 

Good proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel 

Provide improvement ideas to the development team 

Good understanding of the CIS batch tool function and search functions (desirable) 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

Education:  

MSc. Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Chemistry 

Experience: 

3-4 years with Sales/Marketing, R&D or Technical Services background (Broad focus on Life Science Market) 

Technical Skills / Competencies:  

Good knowledge of MS-Access, MS-Excel 

Good knowledge of Life Science/Chemistry product data 

Expert in analysing the data 

Salesforce.com
