You’re constantly evolving, so shouldn’t your opportunities be, too? **The Opportunity** Reporting to the Manager of the Stipulation Optimization team, this position's primary responsibilities will include strategy development and performance analysis to optimize stipulation portfolio results. The ideal candidate must be passionate about delivering results, must be an innovative and strategic thinker, willing to challenge status quo, can learn quickly, is self-motivated, detail oriented, and can sift through voluminous amounts of information to pinpoint which items are relevant to understanding Business results. They will be able to apply knowledge of business and balanced judgment in interpretation of data (analytics). **The Work Itself** * Independently interfacing with key stakeholders to provide timely and accurate analysis that drive business objectives and targets * Developing strategy and associated performance analysis that achieve business objects and results * Apply knowledge of business and balanced judgment in interpretation of data * Leading analytics projects which require technical sophistication and the ability to navigate ambiguity * Performing ad hoc analysis and quickly provide results and recommendations * Identify, quantify and propose risk/reward trade-off of recommendations * Perform portfolio analytics, special projects, and drill-down analyses. * Maintain code logic to produce accurate operational and portfolio-level reports. * Conduct special analytics projects as assigned. * Deliver accurate results within designated timelines. **The Skills You Bring** * Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field - Finance, Economics, Analytics , Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics required, Masters degree strongly preferred * 3+ years' experience in similar advanced analytics position required * 3+ years’ experience using SQL, Python, SAS or similar tools to mine and analyze large data sets required * 2+ years’ experience developing business strategies based on data analyses. * 3+ year experience in consumer financing industry (e.g. auto, card, mortgage etc.) * Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop and execute small to medium scale projects. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present material * Work well within a team of analysts and collaborate with individuals with technical and non-technical backgrounds * Preferred: * Master’s degree in business or quantitative field * Experience in automotive or financial services industry. * Experience with designing and implementing champion challenger strategies \#DFS \#LI-Hybrid **How We'll Have Your Back** * Ally's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
