Ally's Finance team seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to support ongoing management and improvement of Reporting and Analytics Workstream for the CFO Organization. Engage with business and tech partners, apply analytical and critical thinking to implement innovative Finance Transformation strategies. Preferred experience in Cloud data warehouses, Power BI, and Python, strong communication skills, and ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment

The Work Itself Engage directly with business and technology partners to understand objectives and deliver analytic-centric solutions.Collaborate with the technology organization on the maintenance and development of data integrations, reports, and dashboards.Maintain user security and access rights to support business activities and process improvements within the Microsoft Power Platform.Improve the control environment, ensuring data completeness on the reporting portal through validations and troubleshooting.Determine business needs with key partners and end users, defining requirements, crafting solutions, and implementing functional and technical improvements.Improve Ally's reporting capabilities by developing curated semantic models, dashboards, metrics, and reports.Provide training to end users and assist in ongoing knowledge sharing across Ally's power user community. The Skills You Bring Bachelors' Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, Mathematics or related major3+ years of experience in reporting and analytics.Previous experience in crafting visual reports, scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI to highlight important metrics.Proficiency in bringing to bear data analysis solutions (using SQL/Python) and working with large analytical datasets.Advanced-level calculations on data sets.Solid understanding of Snowflake (Cloud).Ability to develop tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards.Working knowledge in data management tools such as Collibra DQ, Alation, or Tosca.Experience with Power Apps/Power Automate and financial experience is a plus.Expertise in connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data, setting up semantic models for business intelligence.Analytical thinking for translating data into insightful reports and visuals.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize competing priorities based on organizational value.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, translating technical requirements to business end users and vice versa.Meticulous attention to detail for issue tracking, risk management, and performance measurements with critical metrics. Base Pay Range: $70000 - $120000 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.  Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
