In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

To monitor and ensure the continuous operation of software systems and applications in the production environment. To identify and troubleshoot incidents and issues, taking proactive steps to prevent downtime or service disruptions. To perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues, collaborating with development and IT operations teams to implement long-term solutions. To investigate application errors, system failures, and performance issues to identify underlying causes and prevent future occurrences. To work with cross-functional teams, including software developers, IT operations, QA, and infrastructure teams, to ensure a coordinated response to production issues. To support the deployment of new releases, patches, and upgrades in the production environment, ensuring minimal disruption to users. To maintain comprehensive documentation of production issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for future reference. To participate in post-incident reviews (PIR) to evaluate response effectiveness and recommend process improvements.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or any Engineering degree with a programming course in the curriculum. At least 2 years of relevant experience in production support, software support, or IT operations, with a focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution in a production environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic programming principles. Solid understanding of databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and experience with database troubleshooting. Familiarity with cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
